Born into a musical family in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, David made the commitment to follow a lifetime passion for music in his early teens. A graduate of the University of Guadalajara's School of Music, his Classical training provided a solid background for the development of a wide-ranging repertoire of work, including everything from Bach to the Beatles.
A gifted composer and songwriter, David has worked solo through the years, as well as with many of Mexico's finest musicians, in locations including the major cities of Jalisco, Baja California Sur, Colima, and Nayarit. Since 2002 he has made Sayulita, Nayarit his home.
Over the years, he has become respected as Sayulita's most versatile musician. In addition to performing at the Sayulita Music Festival and at many of the town's best venues, he is the "go to" musician and standard of quality for events such as weddings, reunions and private celebrations.
At present, in addition to spending the Winter season in Sayulita, David is available to new audiences in the area of San Miguel de Allende, in central Mexico's state of Guanajuato for a large part of each year.
Whatever the event, David will provide just the right accompaniment to complete your perfect moment.
